Description of the Plant:
A slender woody much-branched climbing shrub. Leaves sessile or shortly petioled, 7.6-12.7 cm long, elliptic or lanceolate, acuminate. Flower very small, white, subumbellate, in terminal, spreading, leafy cymes.
Warm leaf paste is applied on boils. An infusion of the leaves is given in stomach pain by the Chakma in Rangamati (Yusuf et al. 2009).
EtOH(50%) extract of plant is diuretic (Asolkar et al., 1992).
Forests of Chittagong and Chittagong Hill Tracts and Cox's Bazar, in shady areas.
